The greatest misconception of capitalism is that competition will make things better because it gives people the chance to acquire more stuff.
People will always strive to do good things because they are good.
The problem however, is the perception of goodness and a great fear of being abused. This should be the main focus of regulatory organs. Help shape the conception of what is good and bad in a productive way and provide a secure playing field where no fear of abuse leads to or justifies abuse in turn.
